📢 Quebec is introducing a new refundable tax credit to help households deal with rising grocery and energy costs. 🛒⚡
Eligible individuals could receive:
💰 $100 for a single eligible individual
💰 $150 for couples
👨👩👧 + an additional $50 for households with at least one child under 18
Unlike some other credits, this one is not reduced based on family income and will be paid automatically starting around June 4, 2026. No application required.
👉 To qualify, individuals must generally be eligible for the solidarity tax credit and file their 2024 income tax return by December 31, 2028.
At a time when affordability remains one of the biggest concerns for families, every bit of relief matters. 🌿
